Meet The Team

Brian has worked for R M Fisher since 1988. He is a very fair and laid-back boss who wants to sell as many vehicles as he can. He is such a good boss that you will always find him working on Sundays so his Sales Team can have a day off. Relaxation for Brian involves socialising with family and friends and walking his dogs. He has been a keen sportsman all his life playing football, rugby and squash but today he is more likely to be seen on the golf course - his lifelong ambition being to have a lower handicap but sadly for him he is unlikely to be able to match the single figure handicaps of his two sons.

I have worked for R M Fisher since 1988. I look after the Company’s finances and associated regulatory requirements. I share an office with Brian and our door is always open to both staff and customers. Outside of work I enjoy socialising with family and friends, taking our dogs on long coastal walks and keeping fit – trying to fit circuits, Pilates, running and yoga into my busy week. In 2019 at the age of 61, I fulfilled a lifetime ambition taking part in the Liverpool Rock and Roll Half Marathon (13.5 miles), completing it in 2 hours 30 minutes – a proud moment for me.

Steve has worked for R M Fisher since 1985, starting off in Parts then moving to Sales where he has been Sales Manager since 1995. Steve is an integral part of our core Management Team and our trusted deputy and thereby enabling us to take time off for holidays and we appreciate the value, wisdom and commitment he brings to the Company. In his spare time Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and sons and loves all things red – especially wine and, for his sins, is a lifelong Manchester United fan.

Sam is our younger son who has worked for R M Fisher since 2013. He has youth and enthusiasm on his side and has brought a new dynamism to the Sales Department. He has developed an excellent knowledge of the motor trade and, combined with his outstanding IT skills and his sunny nature, is a huge asset to the Company. Outside of work, he enjoys country pursuits, socialising with his girlfriend and friends, having a lower golf handicap than his Dad but most of all he loves eating out – a wide range from fast food to haute cuisine.

Nick has worked for R M Fisher since 1988, starting off as a Car Valeter then in 1989 moving on to train as a Vehicle Technician. Nick is loyal, very hard working and one of the kindest people you could meet – he would help anyone out if he possibly could. Outside of work Nick enjoys spending time with his partner and twins and he is a very keen and talented sportsman – playing tennis, badminton, running and cycling. He is famous for his awesome jokes – his opinion not ours.

Alan has worked for R M Fisher since 2016 as a Vehicle Technician. He is always keen to enhance his technical knowledge, attending training courses to further his skills and also loves the challenge of diagnosing faults – not stopping until the problem is solved. Outside of work Alan enjoys spending time with his partner and 5 children and even has spare time for keeping fit, is a keen cyclist and is currently restoring a Mark 2 Vauxhall Cavalier – he is rightly very proud of his achievements and his attention to detail is admirable.

Emma has worked for R M Fisher since 2008, starting off as a Service Adviser, moving to a Sales Executive role and, since July 2019, joining the Administration team. Emma is a loyal and trusted colleague who has adapted to her changing roles and we value her hard work ethic. In 2010, when Emma was Service Adviser, she represented SEAT UK winning the top Service Adviser at the SEAT International Top People Awards in Spain – the first time the UK had a winner in any category – a truly fantastic achievement. In her spare time Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and young sons, especially walking in The Lakes, and keeping fit with trampolining and running.

Carl has worked for R M Fisher since 2000 as a Car Valeter. He is a kind, loyal and hardworking colleague who gets on with his job without any fuss and works diligently throughout the day valeting both sales and service vehicles. Outside of work Carl enjoys cycling and spending time with his family.
